Trying to post a picture every week for a whole year, starting 26 August 2018. Newest first.
UPDATE: The challenge is finished. A year has passed. It was an interesting year, with some pics better than others. In some weeks I simply had to use whatever I had on my phone, photos which were often sub-par and which I would never showcase under "normal" conditions. It's hard to juggle work, moods and photography. It's one thing to click a button and snap away, and another to capture something that has some kind of meaning.

"Ceahlau" - Same mountain as featured on Week 26, but this picture was actually taken some 26 kilometers farther away, with different optics. The distance between the mountain and the hill where I was taking this photo from is 66 kilometers, compared to 40 kilometers in the previous Ceahlau pic. The huge metal cross standing on the hill above the village is 7 km away. At the time this photo was taken there was a ham radio operator on the left peak of the mountain, activating in the SOTA programme. We talked via FM radio in good conditions. - Week no.29 (taken 9 Mar 2019)
"Minsk-Varna Intl. train stops at dusk in Suceava for a locomotive change" - First, as the train crosses the border from Ukraine into Romania, it gets a wheel change for the narrower rail gauge used in most Western Europe and also a Diesel-electric locomotive - there's a stretch of non-electrified track near the border. Then, in Suceava, they change the locomotive to a fully electric one. - Week no.2 (taken Aug 27, 2018)
